Challenge: eBay Motors needed to communicate two critical truths at scale: that it offers a vast range of parts and accessories – and that those parts are guaranteed to fit your vehicle. In a category crowded with choice but low on confidence, the brand needed to make fit feel simple, reliable, and memorable.
Solution: A series of humorous TV and social spots that absurdly illustrated the consequences of getting the wrong part – making “Guaranteed Fit” the hero idea, while reinforcing the depth of eBay Motors’ inventory as the reason it works.
Results: Elevated awareness of eBay Motors’ Guaranteed Fit proposition and reinforced the brand as a reliable destination for parts and accessories, driving 158 million YouTube views in the first six months.
